Data Privacy Roundtable Discussion

On April 10, 2019, we will be hosting our third talk regarding data privacy. This talk will be hosted in Avery 115 (University of Nebraska-Lincoln) at 6:00pm. Our guest speakers include Dr. Mark van Roojen, Professor of Philosophy; Dr. Qiben Yan, Associate Professor of Computer Science; and Dr. Gus Hurwitz, Associate Professor of Law. Join us to learn more about the ways that your data privacy is being abused in our society. Regardless of your experience or knowledge in the field, all are welcome to attend. This event will be an expert-led talk about data, privacy, and how they relate to our lives. Bring your thoughts, ideas, and questions for the Q&A session at the end, or come just to listen. Refreshments will be served. Our speakers come from a variety of academic backgrounds, so the audience will be getting a diversity of perspectives about data rights.
